I have just returned back to the United States after serving three years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines. As a volunteer I taught general science (Biology, chemistry, physics and earth science) to grade 10 and 7 students. I never expected that I would enjoy teaching so much during my service overseas but I found a passion for teaching. This passion eventually led me to shift career aspirations and pursue teaching.
