I received my BA in English (literature) & Non-Profit Management in Winter 2011, then went on to volunteer as an ESL tutor with several organizations. While tutoring I realized that I have a passion for teaching ESL, so I then moved on to Iowa State University where I taught composition & ESL writing/grammar for 2 years, while also continuing to tutor in ESL and literacy skills for children with Down Syndrome on a volunteer basis.
