As a retired middle school teacher, who also has a Master's Degree in Reading and Language Arts, I love to work one-on-one with students. I taught math (through pre-algebra), as well as English and Language Arts with an emphasis on reading and writing. In addition, I have tutoring experience in math (1st grade-8th grade and adult), reading and writing, as well as ESL. The strategies learned in my Master's Degree program make me a more effective teacher and tutor. I have a specialty in Readin
