I have held both Nevada and Utah teaching licenses. I attended Southern Utah State College--now Southern Utah University--in Cedar City, where I earned a B.A. degree in Political Science, with a minor in Speech. Later I attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for three semesters to complete the education classes and student teaching I needed to earn a Nevada Educational License.
