I'm a retired teacher and psychologist. I taught elementary school children in all subject areas from 1991-2007. I had elementary school (K-6) certification in Colorado from 1991-2009, as well as elementary school counselor certification from 2002-2007. I got into teaching elementary school kids halfway through my professional career as a psychologist because I worked so much with kids and the schools and realized that this would be a fun departure. I taught first and second graders and
