Math is something I understand. Growing up my mom was a math teacher and when it was time for college I became a math major since I understood it's importance. I have previously tutored at a math center where I honed my skills at teaching mathematics. My goal isn't necessarily to make students "Like math" but rather to make it so that Math is a not a topic that they fear. Experience and caring about my students makes me a great tutor.
