I have taught ESOL for over 5 years in Cincinnati, first in the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, with predominantly, but not exclusive French-speaking West African Adult students (Russians and Koreans included!), then in a private French-speaking African (adult) community, and recently with a family of visitors (aged 46, 12, 10) from France who are originally from Senegal. In Manhattan (NYC), I taught ESOL to youth of various ages: 6 -18, mostly Latino. I began my interest in
