For the past two years I have been a Social Studies Educator and Teach For America Corps member in Detroit. Through training and interaction with other staff, administration, faculty, and students there have countless opportunities to develop skills related to instructing and advising a diverse learning community. I have tutored and differentiated instruction to appeal to many scholars who are learning English as a second language. I have recently moved back from Michigan to New Jersey where
