A former teacher of French in England I have taught students from age 9 through to age 50 and also hold qualifications in business French. As a part of my degree (and I earned the second highest [2:1] from the CNAA (Council For National Academic Awards) I lived in the southern town of Rodez for a scholastic year. When I came home to England I was so immersed in the language that in the center of Derby (my home town in the midlands of England) I found myself ordering bus tickets in French!
