I am not an Engineer but I spent many years doing engineering work. From this experience I applied many math models to solve real world problems not only in engineering but also in business. I have a graduate degree in business management. I spent 25 years at HPU as a Management and Math professor.I believe that young people need to know why they are studying math. In my teaching style I like to incorporate real world examples to better understand the process.
