My passion for teaching stems from my own difficulties learning. As a student I struggled with a learning disability, time management, and a lack of interest in my studies. With a lot of work I was able to overcome these set backs and successfully complete High School and College, something I did not see as a possibility at on point. After College I found myself teaching at an independent, alternative High School helping the very same types of students I had been only a few years earlier.
