I received my Bachelor's degree in mathematics in 2003 from Alabama State University. I have an MEd from there as well. I have been involved in teaching or tutoring math since my freshman year of college (1998). I understand that math can be very confusing at times and disheartening as well. My goal as a mathematics instructor/teacher/tutor is to show the common ground between things in everyday life and the mathematical concepts students are asked to employ. I personally think math is great and
