I'm originally from Hawaii but moved to New York City in 2009 to read a degree in Classics at NYU. In 2012, I studied at the Universität Heidelberg, in the Seminar für Alte Geschichte thanks to a fellowship at the Deutcher Akademischer Austaush Dienst. While there, I studied the early Roman Republic while also producing two theses: one on the Social War and another on the Cult of Isis, both written in German.
