I taught elementary school for 30 years. I have taught grades 1, 2, 3, and 4. I love literacy and math! I have always enjoyed working with children to teach reading and writing skills. I have a background in STEM education as well. I believe in teaching the student from where they are, and use assessment to drive instruction. I have a Masters degree in teaching reading.I have taught the new Bridges Math Program for first grade in WCSD. I am very familiar with Common Core math standards
