In March 2009, after earning my degree in sociology, I spent three years living in South Korea working as an English teacher. As a teacher I taught adults and children. Aside from teaching, I also organized and participated in class events. We took class trips, had class picnics, we had cooking classes where I taught the students to cook some different dishes such as a southern style breakfast. We also held a Christmas event where the adult students sang English songs and the children did a play
