For the past 31 years, I have been employed as a special education teacher working primarily with learning disabled children in grades k-5, although I have also taught mildly cognitively disabled children. I am trained in multi sensory instruction for reading and used both the Orton-Gillingham method as well as the Wilson Reading System.
