From the four years of experience I have as a tutor in the Napa Valley and a lifetime as a student, I understand that, in many cases, the connection between a teacher and a student is not always enough for a student to learn. In classrooms, and most often in math and science courses, material tends to be presented in wording and format that, while it might make logical sense, cannot be understood by a student to the point of mastery.
