My history with education includes volunteering with City Year, which is a full-time service program working with inner-city youth, focused on resource conservation and education. As a corps member I worked at Overbrook High School as a teacher's aide in two English classes and a science class. I provided 1-on-1 and general support, wrote lesson plans, and provided pull-out tutoring to at-risk students. I also supported my teammates in our after school tutoring program, lunch-time chess club
