My teaching strength is to make learning fun and successful. Children need to know that learning is a real "feel good" experience not a drudgery. In some of my past teaching experiences with children that were below level, I used hands on approach to math. They became so excited about math, that they wouldn't be late for class or miss a session. I would teach the "little tricks" to solve a problem, which they loved.
