Sylvia was educated at Cooper Union, N.Y.U. and Stanford in Fine Art, English and Film. She edited numerous films including Academy Award winning "Interviews with My Lai Veterans," receiving special praise from John Simon in his book, "Movies into Film" for her editing of "Tropic of Cancer."Active as an editor, educator and photographer in New York for two decades, her work has appeared in fine art, educational and commercial publications.
