I have spent over a year's time working with young children of all sorts at a learning center, working with them on their reading and math. The challenge here is not just teaching them the right information, but ensuring they understand it. Children can memorize, eventually, easily enough. But whether they understand a subject, or an answer, is pivotal to ensuring they will grow to use that knowledge in their future education. Seeing that take effect is my favorite part of teaching students.
