I am a mountain girl from Paintsville, Kentucky. I enjoy the beautiful rolling hills of eastern Kentucky. I attended Berea College where I grew to love mountain art, especially weaving. I was a student weaver at the school and received the Labor Day Award in Weaving in 1981. I also attended Georgetown College where I grew to love pencil drawing. Today I continue to draw from the beautiful mountains of eastern Ky. I taught art to students at Paintsville Elementary School during the years
