I have worked as an instructional aide in special education for the last 12 years. I have instructed students in pre-reading, pre-writing, early reading and math skills, and some elementary remedial reading and math. I love the feeling of helping a child just "get it" and the look on their face when they master a concept they have been struggling with. I am experienced with phonics based learning for reading and writing.
