My introduction to tutoring began in high school when my SAT tutor first asked me to tutor the SSAT to middle school students. I didn’t think much of it at the time other than a temporary opportunity for work and an extension of studying the SAT. After graduating Garfield H.S. I attended the University of Washington and took on several part time jobs, including tutoring students at Whitman Middle School as part of the SESO GEAR UP program.
