I have always loved teaching. As a gymnastics teacher at the YMCA in my hometown, my favorite part of teaching was watching the young kids have the sudden "lightbulb" moment and accompanying improvement. As I began tutoring middle school children as a part of my National Honor Society requirements, I realized that I enjoy teaching from an academic standpoint as well.
