I am a fourth generation Japanese American. I grew up speaking both English and Japanese. I have experience teaching Japanese, ESL, TOEFL, and TOEIC in one-on-one private tutoring settings and in public and private schools. I am a friendly and approachable person who can teach creatively and outside of the box. I have lived in Japan for five years and I have taught ESL at the elementary, junior high, high school and adult level.
