Mentoring students has been a lifelong passion. After graduating with a BA in Elementary Education, I taught full-time for 13 years. I taught grades 3, 5 and 6, and created a district-wide gifted and talented program. During this time I also received an MA as a Reading Specialist as well as a Teacher of Reading and Supervisory certification. My desire to learn about teaching methods in other countries led to international exchange programs, where I had opportunities to teach in England and Russ
