Reggie is a native of Leakesville, Mississippi. After graduating high school, he attended Jones County Junior College (JCJC) where he was an honor and band scholar. He received his Associates Degree in General Studies. After graduating from JCJC, he attended USM, and he became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, MU XI chapter and various campus organizations: AASO, NAACP, RHO GAMMA, and IFC.
