I love language. I have been engaged with it throughout my academic career. Now, I get to study how it is used in the world around us-- as well as how it develops and how it is understood--as a Sociophonetician. I enjoy this work, but I regret that my research has taken me away from one-on-one interaction with students who strive to learn more about the English language and how to use its multiple applications with fluidity. Working with you gives me the opportunity to do something I love! T
