I was a Fulbright Scholar and teaching assistant in France. I lived in Spain for more than twenty years. I completed all requirements for the Ph.D. in Spanish except the dissertation, and completed the Ph.D. minor in French. I've taught Spanish and French at various American colleges and universities, taught English in Bilbao and Madrid, Spain. I was a Reader for the AP Spanish Exam for 14 years, several as Table Leader or Assistant Table Leader. Through the years, I have kept in touch with
