I have worked for many years as a preschool teacher before getting my degree in teaching English as a second language. As a preschool teacher it was important to teach different strategies to figure out information before having reading skills. This led to teaching English language learners.I am thrilled to watch students break through to understand new ideas. It is wonderful to build that connection.
