When I was younger I had the opportunity to work as a volunteer with special needs children. I gained much satisfaction with that experience, and I had good responses from parents. My work with the children lead me to choose a career in education. I specialized in tutoring in the areas of reading, phonics, and language arts. I taught Special Education successfully for nine years. I obtained my Bachelor's of Elementary Education at Temple University in 1979 with a 3.8 average. Then I obtai
