My name is Karen. I have been a teacher in the Rochester City School District for over 13 years. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades throughout my tenure as a teacher. I am experienced in teaching reading, writing, math, science, and social studies at the elementary level- grades Pre K- 6th. I am extremely knowledgeable about the Common Core Standards and expectations for students' learning. I believe in a hands on approach to learning that utilizes and incorporates multiple intelligence
