I am a retired physical chemist, interested in working with chemistry or physics students. I have taught college freshman chemistry. I especially enjoy working with high school students who intend to major in the physical sciences. Mathematical background improvement is a familiar area of my attention. Thinking through problems physically before detailed mathematical solutions is the preferred methodology. Reasoning and analytical processes are more important than the numerical results.
