For the past fifteen years I lived in Italy, and worked as an English mother tongue teacher, translator, and Cambridge University ESOL examiner, as well as preparing students for TOEFL exams and teaching Italian to English speaking visitors. This experience has enhanced my familiarity with the Italian language and also led me to a better understanding of Italian culture and society.
